JEWELLERY

Children will be asked not to wear jewellery for safety reasons, particularly during PE and games. However, children may wear small studs and watches in school. We strongly recommend children do not wear rings, necklaces and any valuable items because Governors cannot be liable for any losses. Children will be asked to remove watches and earrings for P.E. and swimming.

CLOTHING FOR P.E.

Having the appropriate clothing for either Indoor P.E. or Outdoor P.E. helps children and adults alike to perform their best work because they LOOK and FEEL specially dressed to do so.

No special brand, quality or price-range is encouraged but parents are requested to provide appropriate clothes for two types of activity.

1.  GYMNASTICS, DANCE AND INDOOR GAMES

Children should wear black shorts and their house colour T-shirt.

2.  OUTDOOR GAMES

Children should wear black shorts and their house colour T-shirt.

Tracksuit or joggers and hoodie to be worn over shorts and T-shirt.

Children are currently coming into school on PE days wearing their PE kit but when weather is colder they can wear a dark tracksuit with their kit underneath.

3.  SWIMMING

BOYS    -    Swimming trunks AS OPPOSED to long beach swimming shorts

                   Towel

                   Swimming cap for long hair

GIRLS -      One piece swimming costume

                   Towel

A swimming cap for all but the shortest hair

Children will be asked to remove all jewellery on Health and Safety grounds.

Parents will need to complete a permission form for their child to wear goggles (available from school).
